More road work. Believe it or not, we have had this mare for exactly 5 days and she has never worked with dogs before. What a great temperament.
On another note, only 5 more weeks until grouse opener!
Just super Photo's!!!!! Third one is exceptional!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!wems2371 wrote:Good stuff! Here are a few pics from last weekend. I helped with our chapter's two day NAVHDA test, and when it was all done, ran the dogs on the bird field Sunday evening. These were some good flying chukar, so I didn't have too many concerns going into it. Cut 'em loose and birds were flying everywhere. I thought holy cow, maybe this wasn't a good idea, and they're coming unglued. A couple minutes later, the points started, and it hit home why I need to get a johnny house built. One of the interesting moments, was Roxi going on point, and then Brandi cutting over and going on point too. Seeing it all from the rear, I thought it was an excellent honor, but was surpised when a bird flew up in front of Brandi 20 seconds later. Brandi had cut across a mowed path and stopped on a dime for a chukar just a few feet in front of her on the open path. A few minutes later they had another two dog separate find.
What's not to like about a puppy??????????????Ms. Cage wrote:OOOH BOY, This is Fun!!!!
She is getting better looking everytime I see a new pic of her. On top of that look at the intensity.wems2371 wrote:
