Lost another good one
Lost another good one
I lost another good dog, Quick Shooter SH I almost got 15 years out of him. He was a good co-pilot & a great hunting dog. Pheasants were his game and there weren't many better He knew how to pin ND, SD, & NE. ringnecks. In the off season I played the AKC hunt tests games with him. He also liked to watch college football after our Saturday morning hunts. He was also good clearing a room with his GAS  RIP Shooter I'll miss you.

condolences. they are such a special part of the family. I firmly believe a hunting dog is mourned to a greater degree than a basic house pet. it takes a hunting dog owner to understand that
Re: Lost another good one
You would think it would get easier to deal with as we get on in years, for myself it seems it is quite the opposite. I cherish the special ones I had, and dread the inevitable more and more with each passing year. Sorry for the pain you are feeling, happy for the memories have.
