New bird launchers

Post by GsPJustin » Mon Apr 30, 2007 12:43 am

I am in the market for a bird launcher or two and a store near my house has Innotek's on clearance, I know the rumors of there quality and all the others... but i have also heard that Sport dog bought out Innotek or something of that nature and I was wondering if I got a good deal it would be worth it. My luck with them in the past have been bad but I was wondering if there was a change.

I've been searching ebay and other places for used ones of different brands but to no avail.

I had major issues with Innotek collars, but I have 3 of their launchers that have worked fine over a quite a long time. I guess it would depend on how good a deal it was. IMO they are not as nice as the launcher that Dogtra makes (quiet, locate function), but will work fine if the price is right.

I have had three of their launchers for three years now and they have performed flawlessly. Three years ago they were totally redesigned and it's my understanding there is little trouble with them now.
LIFE WITHOUT BIRD DOGS AND FLY RODS REALLY ISN'T LIFE AT ALL.

I would not pay more then $170.00 each cause you can find them for that. I have had 3 for a long time and they work great but had to replace the remote.

Went down to the store to pick one up and the guy said that Innotek wouldn't provide a warranty because there no longer made by the company or something. And with Innotek's track record I wanted to ask them myself first. Waiting on an email, hope they don't take to long they will be off clearance soon.

That's bogus man... discontinued or not, you still warranty a new in the box product. That is if the company is worth anything.....

I bought two from a pawn shop and promptly broke a spring on one of them. Innotek sent me a replacement part FREE!
