Checking in - Puppy update - Pics

Post by gar-dog » Mon Nov 12, 2007 1:08 pm

Well we've had our Brit pup for 10 days or so and she is really fitting in. She has the occassional accident which is typically our fault. She is sleeping longer at night and responding better to correction about nipping.

The Delmar Smith Wonder Lead is an amazing thing. She is walking and running very well on the lead. I took her out this afternoon in a field near the house and let her explore.

I managed to slip away to Texas for some bird hunting and managed one hunt over a Brit which was fun. I will say the English Pointer there was a machine! I can't wait until next year when I can hunt over my own dog.

Ginger prefers my daughter's stuffed toys to her own, so I took her to Petsmart today for some stuffed toys of her own, and found only a couple that don't squeak.

She is a handful!!

Cheers, for now.....
Gary

They are so cute when they are little. Then they get to that awkward stage of being super tall and thin as a rail. Then they get all cute again.

I can't believe I missed her intro but wasn't expecting her arrival until mid November.

Wow is she a cutie! Actually looks alot like my Goldy.

Think I see a little devil in those eyes and I know first hand you guys are in for some fun.

Best of luck with her.

Gary
