I'm sitting here having my morning time-to-myself after Donna leaves to take the kids to school.

The dogs are in the crates right behind me licking their lips after their morning feeding and there is a male quail out beyond the fence trying to call up a mate "Bob White!" and female answered "Bob Bob-White!".

They are some of the quail I've liberated in training. It's good to know that some of them have survived the house cats and are going to breed. I've been throwing some of the pigeon's seed mix out back for them and the other birds.

The peaceful little scene made me smile.

Sounds good... I used to hear them at my place... Haven't heard them this year....
