I hunted with guys who used to hunt over droppers all the time. Some of them were really tough hunting dogs, some of them weren't worth dropping.

I too, would have to question the ethics of a breeding of this sort unless it was high quality stock and the 'breeder' had responsible hunting homes lined up ready to take the product of the breeding with the understanding that they would be spayed/neutered. Even with that said, there are a lot of rescues out there in the same category and I can't see contributing to that problem with another litter.
