I took her out when I went to help some clients today on their hunt..So she was staked out by the trucks to watch from a distance. She sure wants to be in the field. Soon enough any higher and I would loose her in the alfalfa right now

Nice looking puppy k9. You can tell from the pictures she has something going on in that head of hers. :)

Have you named her yet?

Bailey is just over 3 months old

We have already started to just play games which will build up drive and give her the idea of what we are wanting when she grows up.

When training the older dogs she is also chain ganged to watch

Under the articles is a puppy foundation part 1 and two which we do with our dogs

also when dogs are brought to us for training and how we begin the process

Make it fun get them excited build up drive point and back excersises
then yard work for basic commands

Make the sessions fun and end on success cause short successful session will get you much further faster then a timed regiment which some people seem to think is the way...here the most important thing the quality of a session not the quanity of time...

I know to some they post on other sites that what some people say that it is redundant but that is what training is redundant work which one needs to make fun if you over work a dog specially dogs starting out you can quickly sour a dog which can lead to undesired traits in the field.

My goal for her is to trial her and put a title on her like I have with my other dogs dogs in my program. She has all the things I look for so far...Gonna have her hips checked as that is also a very important part of a program. So there is a lot riding on her little shoulders but she is none the wiser as right now she is having fun being a pup and being introduced to all the things to make her the dog I want in the future

Wish I could get more pictures taken while out training but hard to handle dogs and take pics at the same time

Great pup,

there were several things I could have learned from your program IF I would have seen it earlier.
