Kansas Trainers
I have a 10 month old GSP and was wondering if anyone could recommend a good trainer in the Kansas/Missouri area. Thanks to everyone in advance!

Here is one close to you. I don't know him but I've seen his dogs run and talked with others that have used him. I train my own but if I ever had a problem I couldn't solve or for whatever needed a trainer this would be the first place I'd turn. He is not to far west and north of you either.

In NW Missouri is Hedge Rise Kennels and Brian Long. If he is close to you.
Keith and Robbi and Blue Dawn are grat and will do a good job for you for sure.
I have a number for Biran if you send me a PM. He is about 90 from KC and up north.

With your close proximity to his area I'd have to give a second to giving Bryan Long a call. Bryan and I have been freinds for a very long time and spend a good portion of the year working and training together. You will definitely get a top quality trainer at reasonable rates who never takes on more than he can handle. He's cut back quite a bit on his trialing to spend more time at home with his family so he's going to be doing a whole lot more training and a whole lot less traveling in the future. CR

shady,
You brought up a good question and that is something I should have said in my original post. In the end I want mostly a good gun dog. That being said I think I would enjoy running her in NAVHDA events and possibly NSTRA. As of right now though she need more bird exposure and unfortunatly I'm unable to provide that.

Gotta vote for Keith and Robbi for what you want. You mention bird exposure. Don't know of many trainers who actually hunt their charges as much as Keith. With quail and chickens in the Flint Hills and his trips here to Texas, the dogs are exposed to wild birds. One day on wild birds is better than 50 on pen ones.
