GOt this off another forum & wanted to cross posted it for the guy. I just scares me to think that theft of dogs happens.

Hi my name is Daniel Tang & I live in Princeton, MN.

Friday 3/11/05 I had my two german shorthairs taken. My male is white & ticked with liver head. My female is roan with liver blazed head. The male had one leg left to achieve master hunt title so if anybody has heard of anybody recently getting a hold of 2 shorthairs please let me know. My e-mail address is dmtang@sherbtel.net or contact Sherburne County Sheriff Dept of Minnesota at 1-800-433-5245. Thank You "

Just and FYI, Chris Benskin is a board member of the MN GSP club and he sent this memo out to lots of folks. That is why his name is in this message.

I read on http://www.versatiledogs.com/ that the dogs had been recovered.

Best regards,

We have been in contact with this owner and on the look out for these dogs, and owner told us he found his dogs in a kennel down the way, apprehended his dogs, charges may be pending. That's about all I know for now...his dogs are home. Makes you wonder what is wrong with people ya know? I dunno about the rest of you, but mine stay in my house when I'm not there monitoring...I do not trust outdoor kennel situations, or to even leave my dogs unattended in my fenced yard (I live in the city of Milwaukee - where they love to steal dogs for pit bull bait/training....). Plus my dogs are all altered, so there is no reason for someone to steal them thinking they would have any breeding pairs. Luckily this one turned out ok. But there are WAY TOO many out there STILL missing.
