Post by up-hunter » Wed Mar 05, 2008 9:44 am

Does anyone know what the name of the britt is that won the Brittany National Amateur Gun Dog Championship last fall?

also if you seen the dog run could you tell me a little about him?

He is a consistant winner and is producing some nice puppies. His sire was a real good dog and Dub has just improved the record. He has to be one of the nicer amatuer trained and run dogs in the country. Only reason I mention that is you won't see him at trials all over the country in a pros string.

It's not how many breaths you have taken but how many times it has been taken away!

Has anyone noticed common sense isn't very common anymore.

Google LaSalle Brittany Club and look at the Brags & Photos section and you will see a picture of Dub.

I've not seen him run. Have had my dog beaten by him quite a few times. He seems to have a real good temperment. Met a couple of 4 month old pups sired by him about a month ago- both were nicely conformed pups with friendly outgoing personalities. Their breeder is a long timer in the Brittany community and showed Dub to his conformation title. She had nothing but great things to say about her litter of pups as did another long timer I talked to in the Brittany community who recently had a litter sired by him. And his owners are some of the best in the Brittany world IMO. Friendly, helpful, just good people you like to be around. JMO having been around them at field trials and in dealing with them as field trial chairs, etc. Kristi
