I looking to get a first aid kit, which one would you recommend or would you just put it together yourself?

I put a small one together with stuff I had around the house. Wanted to get one but budget won't allow it yet.

I put in...a muzzle, flea comb, betadine soln, gauze pads, vet wrap and EMT Gel. Its helped with a couple minor problems, but no where near comprehensive.

There a re a few companies that sell empty kits that will allow you to customize if you want

I would like to see this post fill out a little more. What is the material is helps stop bleeding? What about ipecac? Are there pain relievers that are ok for dogs (I understand that some of the ones humnas use are very dangerous)?

If any one is intersted in getting a first aid kit I picked the Sport Dog kit for only $49.00 everywhere else had them for $79.00 and $69.00. I added a few more thing to mine, but overall it's a really nice kit. Here is the link if anybody is interested

I just noticed it went up a few dollars. I bought mine last week for $49.

Also it was the cheapest place for EMT GEl and Spray
