I hope everyone has a safe and memorable memorial day. I hope everyone can stop for a moment during your busy weekend to reflect on those that gave us that ultimate sacrifice.
My Father and Uncle were both in the Vietnam Conflict, my Father was fortunate to make it home, while my Uncle gave his sacrifice.

Thanks for bringing the true meaning of the holiday to light. As a Active Duty Marine I have a few friends that have made the ultimates sacrifice and I for one will take the time to honor them this weekend.

Gave money for many Poppy's yesterday.The Vets were out in front of many storesand It gets to me when I see people walk by and not even give some change or even a buck or two.
My father was in the service for 22 years and I would go out of my way to give.Love our Vets......

Just went out and bought a new flag last night.

I hope everyone takes time to think about the cost of freedom and gives thanks so many have been willing to give their all to protect ours and provide it for others. Without freedom, I am not sure life would be worth living, and the very least we can do is say a prayer for all of those who have made the effort for all of us. God Bless them, one and all, and thanks for the sacrifice.

Please give a thought to my cousin, Herman Miller, who lost his life in the middle of the night on harbor patrol in Viet Nam - ambushed on a 14ft Boston Whaler as part of the Inshore Undersea Warfare Group. He was just a good 'ole boy from TX and AR, serving his country.

We should honor them all, past and present, each and every day. They should stand in constant reminder to us all, absolutely, freedom is not free.

Thank you Veterans! You are the foundation of our Great Country! All decent Americans are humbled by your service.

Thank You very much for the sacrafice each and every soldier that has already or is doing right now. I thank God everyday and will keep on praying for their safety.

Thanks to all other Veterans, and we honor those having given the ultimate sacrifice.

I just want to thank all the veterans out there in this forum, I too serve with great pride, but what myself and my fellow soldiers have done is nothing compared to what some of you have experienced and sacrificed for the rest of us. My deepest thanks and admiration.

Thank you to each and every serviceman and woman, past present and future.....................and to their families who have also sacrificed so much.
