I've been working on a new website in my spare time. The name is Gun Dog Directory and is located at http://www.gundogdirectory.com/

It's still under development! But you may, however, begin testing it out if you like! =)

The goal of the website is to connect people with gun dog breeders, trainers, etc.

Cool.....I love how you have the sections marked out so if you are looking for a breeder you can find a breeder, if you are looking for a trainer, you can find a trainer, handler, show handler, etc.......very very cool!!!

I know that you've been terribly busy with school, but I think the PP side is under-exploited. Call me sometime and we can chat.

For those that have multiple disciplines; ie. Breed, Train, Offer Stud Service; will they be able to pick multiple listing?

The site looks great, but I noticed one thing...one of the "tags" says "hourseback." I'm assuming that is suppossed to be "horseback" unless I'm missing something

Not trying to split hairs here, just thought you may want to fix it!(can you tell my mom is a school teacher :roll: )

Looks great, but I noticed that I couldnt input my breed of dog yet? Although there were other dog breeds in category's?

Fixed the spelling issues...

I got this email though:

You need to update your dog breed listings. 1st of all,
only French brittanys are called spaniels, American brittanys
dropped the spaniel name more than 20 years ago & you don't have
a listing for Large Munsterlander.

I added Large Munsterlander... But, need clarification on the other breeds...

Built the filter for the search tonight...

it is true back in the mid 80's spaniel was dropped from the brittany since brittanys are a pointing breed

when you get a brittany registration from AKC or FDSB it only says Brittany

CKC still refers to them as spaniels

one thing though by having spaniel it can attain more hits via web searches


but it still send hackles when someone calls me asking about a brittany spaniel
