We are thinking about constructing our own ramp to attach to the boat for our dog to enter out of the water We have an old tree stand that we are thinking of altering.

Has anyone made their own or have any tips on building one?

No tips on construction, but remember to consider the bouyancy of the material. If you use wood, it will likely float and not make much of a ramp, but more of a table.
