Yah man, for sure!! I've got a couple field fillers to enter...or I did until you posted this and I talked to JW. Might as well save my entry fees or just send 'em to you in the mail!! :D :D

Had a find tonight with Bugsy on about a dozen sharptails - hoooollllyy cow!! 2 other finds before that seemed pretty awesome till the dream find. Wow!

We'll be there! ;)

Great pic...what's her breeding?
Success usually comes to those who are too busy to be looking for it.

Mtnmaniac- That country looks a bit familiar to me. There wouldn't happen to be a pole barn style house with attached kennels on the west side just over that hill in the last pic would there? Good to see you out working on the sharpies.

Jason- Hopefully Doug and I can but a win or 2 on her for ya.

Doug- counting the days until you and your mob of ponies and pack of hounds roll in, see ya soon. Take care JW

This was taken about 2 weeks ago. I came riding over that ridge behind her to see her all wadded up. I rode in and the mama bird flushed out in front of her. Being sharpies I continued to flush for the sleepers.

Outstanding dog work there Thor. Is this dog in the process of being broke? What ever your doing sure looks to be working nicely judging from your video clip.

First off I would like to say thank you for the comments. To answer your question, she is being finished out here on the sharpies and getting in shape for the 1 hr brace in the August/Sept. heat. She is a great dog and I think Jason has a speacial one here. Each day she runs she gets a little bit more consitent on her range. Thanks JW

I can not wait to return to the grass of Idaho and the Sharpies & Hunz.

It is too "bleep" hot in AZ today. So, I walked down a much cooler memory lane from last year (when the pups were 4 and 8 months old) and thought I would share............

"Bella" displaying some class and manners after about 6 days of rippin' them...... I think she got tired of them laughing at her as they flew off and figured I could help even the score

Image

"Patchy" was young but she started sticking them too.

Image

This is how we started / ended our days..... Thanks Brad.

Image

And one the trophy pics. Patchy and her first sharpie.............

Image

60 day countdown has begun. Best of luck to all.............

I posted this pic on a different thread but it has become one of my favorites. It has it all, pointing, backing, horse standing ground tied, vast open prairie grass and best of all what you can't see ..... about 15 sharpies huddle around in the shadows. Take care. JW
