If you are talking about the vizsla, I've seen several of his offspring that were very nice dogs. Haven't seen him run though. CR

Don't think I've seen him. Quail are going to be making a very nice recovery this year. I'm still not going out on a limb far enough to say it's going to be a really good year, but definitely an improvement over the last couple. CR

NFC/NGDC/FC/AFC C.C. Papion German Shorthair. His titles are impressive. Maybe, someone who has seen him hunt will chime in.

I would give Joe a call, or you can call Eldon, I believe he ran him for a while. I've never seen him run sorry no help there.

Pedigree is very different from most of what you see in the HB dogs out this way at least. All that Beier's Evolution looks good to me.

Joe always has competitive dogs as well as being a for real character himself.  Watched Pappion a handful of times. Give me a call Jason if ya' want - should be in and out of cell phone today chasing dogs around.

I've ran and watched Papion on several occasions from when he was a shooting dog and transformed to a All age dog he is a first class animal i just had pups out of him an my bitch chloe NAFC/FC/AFC Annie's Littlle Stinker. I scouted him in the GSPCA Amateur and told Joe he should have put him in the All Age had to drag him off birds because Joe went to fast.He won the NC that year and by the accounts of his brace he was huge, impressive and honest on game.

Is it possible that not as many people here have seen him because he runs mainly AF stakes?

MSR has it right, he is a big goer. I cannot speak to his production of puppies. James must be impressed.
