A first for me

I was running a dog from ATV tonite and saw something that was a first for me. The dog running a road down an edge, hit bird scent and skidded 21 feet turning completly around on point! It was memorable. I walked it off, as the pine needles showed the trail. Gotta say it's a dog owned by Debbie Miller (Fritz son).......Got a good one Deb!!! Heres a pic of Chip...

That is awesome. There is nothing like seeing a dog truly slam on point. Im sure it sent chills up your spine. I have only seen a handful of dogs who can give me goosebumps when the work. Sounds like this might be one of those dogs.

God I love it when something like that happens. When I started Tieh I brought her in up wind and had her bump a few first. Then I came in cross wind and poped before she could point. Then she beat me. She came in cross wind really fast, she was fast. Hit it so hard she went completely over and came back up on point; solid as a rock!

She hit this one cross wind and almost knocked herself down. That right leg kept her from going. And that was a pigeon, she looked good on game birds!

Cool Dog... Saw him run in a puppy stake and he lit it up like a big gundog.
