wow there are some great shots i love takeing pictures of my dogs and wild life. i even went out a bought myself a nikon d40 as an early x-mas present. this is a great thread i think we almost need a seprate pic. spot on the forum

Our new Setter from the shelter. She's showing promise as a bird dog, as well as learning manners. She fits right in with our Wirehairs and our other Setter.

Some absolutley gorgeous pics here!!!
I hit the grouse woods this afternoon, beautiful day to be out. Only had 4 points, 6 flushes total, slow day, but sure beat the heck out of working or being stuck in the house!!! (didn't bag any though, missed 2 easy shots

)
Here's one of the points I managed to get a pic of.......(These were taken with the zoom...she was pretty far out & the birds were reallly jumpy, couldn't get any closer w/o missing the opportunity to get a shot, missed anyway.... :roll: )

I love all of the pictures! The snow ones are great, but sadly we don't have any snow down here in SC! We were up in WV with Bruce (AHGSP) this past week and I managed to get some goods shots of the pups - it was freezing out, but as long as we were hunting birds Mae didn't seem to mind!

All 5 of those are near the top of my list so far as well. Another that I really like was one of the first, one that I think really says "January":

It is cut off for some reason on here, but the actual photo is really good.

BDU, peak, chaingang, grange, crackerd, really everyone has some good shots. I REALLY like about 7 or 8 right now. I know it is going to be tough to sit down and go though them all at the end of the month and decide on a winner.
