Ted,

Thanks for the congratulations. As you know Brandi is Spot's sister. She's in my new avatar photo at 36 days pregnant. We wanted a smallish litter of six. Three of each and ended up with three males and two females on my youngest son's 22nd birthday, May 2nd.

Well if your dog or the pups are anything like spot, I would be satisfied to say that your going to have some really great dogs on your hands.

Congratulations.

Just had a chance to look in to the forum and saw Mark's post.

Bo Dixie's Rocky, or Rocky as we call him was a last minute breeding we put together 9 years ago. We searched high and low to locate a producing direct daughter of FC Dixieland's Rusty. Dr. Woody down of Carthage, MO had the original daughter that we were going to use who unexpectedly died. Doc directed us down to Oklahoma to the only other bitch in that litter and we bred her to a FC out of Bill Rowekamps dog Sport.

She whelped only three pups at the age of 8 or 9, two males and one female and we brought them all to Colorado.

Rocky was our pick to keep and has been a tremendous "wild bird" gundog with the "run" to be an AA dog if needed. Honest on his birds and will go all day, there's just no quit in him!

We have always enjoyed turning him loose in the high Prairie's as he is always found standing his birds. He is 9 this year and we have been so blessed to have had the opportunity to breed to such a fine animal as Brandi. She is a delight to have around, as was her brother Spot.

Better yet, I have had the opportunity to have met a great advocate for gsp breed and sport, Mark L..

We will get some more photo's of the pups and we will get you some photos of Rocky / Mark, you'll get those tomorrow!

You need to do that more often. Not much better than a litter of puppies.
