Looking for a Lab Puppy

a friend is looking for a lab pup but is looking for a breeder that has sound dogs that wont fall apart playing fetch. he doesn't hunt but has a big spread with water....the dogs in our area are all short legged, bench types that seem to fall apart just running around. orthopedic vets in nj drives big benzes just from fixing lab knees!!!!
