The Puppies have arrived

Post by 3Britts » Sat Jul 11, 2009 10:54 am

Well, they have arrived and in good health.
Tania whelped on Friday, when I was at Scout Camp with the troop.
She had 6 females and 2 males.
I will get a link to the images up asap, right now I'm a bit tired and have to get the litter registered, the tails docked and the dew claws removed.
Maybe on Tuesday of next week. :D

Very cute. Quite the neat variety of markings. Hope they are all doing well.

Sharp looking litter. I really like the markings on male #1.

The pups are all doing well. In that they are getting bigger and moving around more easily. So far, half are spoken for. I have the two males and two females left to go so, I don't think that I will be able to make that get to gether that Shadow was mentioning. The pups will be leaving at the end of August, seven weeks you know, for their new homes.
The only real problem is that momma will insist on leaving me surprises in the morning. She won't go on the paper twice in one night so I have to clean it up in the morning. :puke: I'll get over it though.

Their eyes will open this week. Their ears open and close according to whether or not there are birds around. :D

I thought that all of the puppies were going to new homes, all but the one that is staying, this week. Now I find out that female number three will be sticking around until a new owner can be found. The home that she was heading to suffered a serious health condition that will side line them both physically and financially for some time to come.
The sad part is that this is the most birdy of the pups and the one that I would have bet on becoming an all age contender. If anyone is interested, let me know.
And, since I moved my camera to 1mp from 4mp, I can finally upload images.
