Newest Addition to the Team

Just thought that I would show off the one I decided to keep.
This little guy will be going both ways: First puppy trial will be early next year, I might even throw in a couple of derbies if he's ready, with his first show appearence around June when trial season takes a break.
His official name is: Upper Ridge's Robin Goodfellow.
His call name will be Robin.
I've included a couple of pics of him pointing. These were natural points on a pheasant wing, no positioning involved.

Jeb, wish I could make the trial. Only problem is that I'll be out of town with the wife.
I'll be sure to make it to the spring trials you guys are holding.
Oh, and Travis, I do have one female left. If you're interested.

Ahhh, I'll be sure to NOT let my wife see that! I already got a 2nd dog this summer, I think a 3rd would be a bit much.

I just couldn't bring myself to call him "Puck". Can you imagin working him in the field and yelling that
name. Good to see that someone know Shakespeare.

Here is the latest pics in the training yard. He is still pointing and holding well. I did have him out with the older dogs the other day and boy was I surprised when he copied an honor. Instead of creeping in and pointing the bird, he pointed his Dam who was honoring his Sire.

No, I'll keep 3Britts as this pup will be spending more time with his handler than with me starting next Summer.
I'll get him for the Spring trial season and then he will be on the show circuit for several month. Next Fall is still up in the air as to who gets him.
