Quail Recall ?

I have had 25 quail in my 8 x 8 Johnny house now for 2 weeks.

Can I start releasing a few at a time yet and have them recall or should I wait a little longer?
Do you train them to come back through the funnel or do they just do it automatically?
What prevents birds inside the house from exiting through the funnel?

Yes.
No they figure it out. May want to put some brush around hole to provide cover.
The small end inside is tilted upward thus they cant work to squeeze back thru.
