CAMO!!!!!!!!!!

Post by Pavel » Thu Oct 15, 2009 1:34 pm

Looking to get some neoprene waders and a hunting jacket in the near future. I live in Canada and late season hunting can get quite COLD.
What do you use or have knowledge of being a good product"Jacket &/or Waders"? Also, What camo pattern do you think works best for hunting waterfowl?

Bobman, Why don't you just go and look back and see that it was not me who said that. It was a thread that I started about getting some help with my first dog selection.

I can't help with the camo, but I'll tell you this. I have these waders I bought for winter steelhead fishing.

http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templ ... ISO-8859-1

They are toasty, toasty warm and I've worn them standing in 33 degree water for long stretches of time.

I don't know what kind of footwear waterfowlers require, but the waders with the boots built in are MUCH warmer than the stockingfoot with boots worn over them.

Not sure if any of that helps or not, but I'd look for 5mm neoprene in the camo you like, and insulated boots built in.

Well, I'm sorry if I took it the wrong way. I just did not want others to not give a response in regards to their opinion on camo and waders.

cabela's titanium 1200 waders and cabela's 4 in 1 wading jacket.......... they are warm and reasonable in price. camo patterns don't really matter as long as it fits the environment GENERALLY.
