I brought home the newest addition to the hunting team over the weekend. My wife and I drove From Chicago to Maryland to pick this one up. We have had her for 4 days and he is fitting in nicely.

I just picked up an 8 week old male Shorthair last Friday. Seems like he's going to be a great pup, as his natural point is already showing
BUT, I wish my 2 year old Lab would have taken to him as nicely as your older Shorthair. The following picture is certainly deceptive. He tolerates the pup but isn't quite sold on the idea of a new addition.
