Setting your truck up for hunting......

Post by Nebraska » Tue Nov 10, 2009 2:10 am

I have a 4-door Tacoma with a very short (5') bed and could use a topper but don't want to spend all that $$ for such a small space so I thought I'd put up a post to see what kind of ideas you guys have for setting your truck up for hunting, with or without a topper......thanks!!

Buy a bigger truck :D......

Really tho not sure what you mean? I have a custom deerskin box with plenty of storage up front, I also leave one of the 5 holes open for more storage. It was
alot more expensive than a fiberglass cap tho....

Ok I'll ask.

How do the dogs loadup through the WingWorks set up?

What are the size of those WingWorks doors?

Found it:

Door Measurements: Trim Perimeter 16" x 18 1/4"

Frame Perimeter (cut size) 15" x 17 1/4"

Actual Door Opening 13" x 15 3/8"

Thank you.

A lot of people let their dogs jump onto the tailgate. I prefer to lift them up. No sense in banging a knee on a once-a-year hunting trip....

I found a topper on craigslist for $300.00. Brand new they are $1200. It is worth the money to have one.
