A dog is only as good as his trainer.

Nice looking dog. How did you find out what his breeding really was?

It's not how many breaths you have taken but how many times it has been taken away!

Has anyone noticed common sense isn't very common anymore.

Are you saying a vet fell in love with your dog and that is why he is half lab and half smooth coated retriever? I don't follow this at all.

Yeah Ezzy Im sure that is exactly what he is saying.....or just maybe he meant the vet agreed with his assumption.

Oh and I found out what he is now, Half Lab and Half flat coated retriever kinda cool
I think common sense says if you don't know how he found out it would be prudent to ask, which I did.

This was the answer.

This was your comment that shows you don't know any more than I do. The difference is I asked and did it kind of light hearted since it wasn't something that makes a great deal of difference but I am still curious.

Maybe we will both find out the answer when Labman gets a chance to answer. Till then Merry Christmas.

You can look at the genetics of a dog to find the complete breed or breed combinations. What I was saying I got this done for a little bit better price than you would normally pay.

The vet really liked him, and really liked us. And she got it set up so we could find out.

Sorry for the confusion, although I find your replies funny :D

You would have to have a good sense of humor if you refer to a Lab or Britt as a 'hunting dog!" JUST KIDDING! Merry Christmas!
