There is Cross breeding of registries.
The DK club has heated arguments over this issue and does allow it, for now.

For me the issue is more basic. The DK is dependent on an organization to accomplish its goals. It must have a membership, active folks who do the work and believe in the purpose. I think its very difficult for the DK because, let's face it, there are a lot of VERY good GSP...and....you can get all the DK in any pedigree you want WITHOUT doing the work. So why join...why get involved....let others do the testing, pay the bills, and just go cherry pick the genetics you need.

The DK has become the servant of the GSP and will stay that way as long as you can get something for nothing.
