Dog box ?

I'm looking for a new dog box and wondering what are everyones thoughts about the ones that mount In a trailer hitch. Any problems with exhaust gasses?

I have a diesel and I would worry about fumes....its also very bouncy out off the end
of the bumper as well.

I cringe each time I see these set ups. What about an accident from behind? I don't like them. No protection, unstable, bouncy, fumes, etc. Okay for a cooler but not a live animal.

Besides exhaust fumes, what about al the road debris that get blown around, do you want your dog getting sprayed with all that garbage?

Look at all the crud on your rear bumper and taillights from the road and decide if you want your dog getting covered like that.

I will say even my big 5 hole in the bed of the truck still filled up with prairie dust.....

If you get rear ended at even a slow speed you have to kiss your dogs goodbye with a setup like that.

Thanks. That's pretty much what I was thinking.
