Lab needs a home - FC AFC Hilltop’s Hayseed X River Hills Ch

Hi all,

This was posted at my work here in Des Moines, IA. I hope someone can help.

I was given a 9 year old yellow lab a few months ago and I now need to find a new home for him. He has been obedience trained and is supposedly a good duck hunting dog (has a champion bloodline). The issue with him is that he will only obey me and has some dominance issues with my kids that I can’t seem to break and I won’t tolerate any longer. With that being said I need to find a new home for him.

Here are some details on him:

Born: 7/31/00

Breeder: Julie & Chris Albright (previous owner already contacted the breeder and they are unable/willing to take him back, that’s how I ended up with him)

Full name: River Hills Rowdy

Sire: FC AFC Hilltop’s Hayseed

Dam: River Hills Cheyenne SH


Previous owner states that Rowdy is not gun shy.



Free to good home



Outside dog and doesn’t seem to enjoy spending much time inside.



Should go to a home where there are no other dogs or children under 10
