Vagas -

That could work to your advantage. In the Nat'l aty Ames, before the pre-release. the dogs that were drawn first day of the week had a distinct advantage in terms of bird contacts and the dogs drawn in the fist brace of the stake had the biggest advantage in terms of birds found.

I wish you and your dog the best of luck. That is one tough field of competitors.

Due to weather, they didn't run on the first day. They may run today.

We're a couple of hours from Hoffman and it is POURING here! With this weather and the weather that's coming later in the week, the draw is all important. It's going to be tough to win this one. Best of luck Vagas!

Well, I got word on how Ben ran. Shawn was really happy with him. He ran real strong, always to the front. Had one find and a really nice race.

Shawn lives about 30 miles north of me. I need to go by and meet him some time if I can catch him at home.

Thank you Bigoak! Got him as a puppy, from Bryce Flaming. If you like Elhew bred dogs, Ben is bred pretty nice. Fibber is a known producer. Everyone knows Snakefoot. Deep Creek Kate was one heck of a blue hen out of National Champion, Dunn's Fearless Bud and Elhew Molly. On his bottom side Explorer is a Champion and if you've follow HB Shooting dogs in the last 5+ years then Sunflower will stick out at you. 15X Champion! He's bred right and i'm liking the pups he is producing. He's not quite 5 yet so his pups are just starting to get to the age where I can start to see what he's doing as a sire. And I like what I see. Again, thanks.
