More Cloud of Doom

Post by Greg Jennings » Tue Dec 20, 2005 10:08 am

All,

Closed on the new house Thursday.

Friday, not a single one of the phone, cable, appliance delivery, etc. showed up.

Then, around 10 AM Friday, my wife's family called to tell her that her father had passed away after a long illness. She left immediately and won't be back till near the new year.

Early Sunday AM, I discovered that someone had cut off my trailer light pig-tail while the truck was at Budget truck rental. Got to get it fixed by Wed. to head to Nashville.

At least no broken arms...only one sliced (trigger) finger.

Best,

Kevin

My heartfelt prayers are with you this holiday ...I know what you'll be going through this holiday with the passing of a family member I just lost my mother Aug 30...and I do miss her very much and most of my pain i feel now is for my dad wishing I could heal the pain he is going through through this holiday..
"I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

Thanks to everyone.

Donna is dealing with this better than I would have ever expected. Her mom will have trouble because she and Donna's dad were a single unit. They lived for one another.

I can hear in Donna's voice, though, that she really doesn't understand what's waiting for her when she gets back home from the holidays. The pristine house that she remembers is now floor-to-rafters in moving boxes. I'm not looking forward to the backlash.

Best regards,

Greg:

Sorry to hear of your loss. It must be tough to deal with at this time of year, not to mention the extra stress of just getting into your new house. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

If you need any assistance with anything, you know how to reach me. Things will get better!

Regards,
Justin

Sorry that your family lost an important family member. It is a heartache that you will all be able to handle I'm sure but it is exceptionally painful at this time of year when our thoughts are on happiness. And in your case the new house that is such a joy and the unsettled statis of the next days of just coping with the move and now the added stress of losing her Dad will surely pull on you all from different directions.

Together you will make it and you have our prayers to help.

It's not how many breaths you have taken but how many times it has been taken away!

Has anyone noticed common sense isn't very common anymore.
