Cavalier Spaniel and Wirehaired Pointing Griffon

Post by Lexus423 » Tue Apr 13, 2010 7:21 am

Can anyone recommend a good breeder in the Northeast for a King Charles Spaniel or a Wirehaired Pointing Griffon?

No. I have a German Shorthaired Pointer now. My wife wants a dog. She really wants a King Charles Spaniel but like the Pointing Griffon as well. I would rather her get the pointing Griffon, but either one would be just fine, I already have my dog.

Its a nice pleasant breed, but very lightly framed, wherever you get it, make sure the breeder follows the proper MVD protocols. It is a very bad problem with that breed and they are very popular and expensive so you can imagine what a money hungry breeder will do.

I concur. They experienced huge popularity after one starred in "Sex and the City," so do your homework.
