Shipping adult dog

Anyone have experience shipping an adult dog, is it cheaper to ship by ground or air, I know it is cheaper for pups to go airlines. I am looking to get a dog from the Portland, Oregon area to Kansas City area in the next few weeks. If anyone has suggestions let me know.

I paid 275 to ship adult dogs on two occasions once from TX and once from Ks , both to the east coast. I pretty sure both times was with American airlines , not positive on that but thats my recollection. Its been a few years now.

Both dogs arrived no hitch and in great shape.

I was goin to suggest American. It is almost 500. on an adult dog thru Delta. Around 300. (or less) with American.

I shipped two adult dogs this year by ground. Two different transporters, both were $400.00 One came from Kansas and one from Missouri both to NM. Hope this helps

You also might want to check airline restrictions as well. At least around here, there is no shipping of dogs as cargo from June 15th until I think around Sept 15th.
