Hunt Test Schedule (KS, MO, NE, OK, CO)

Before I ask my question, I want to say I know it is a bit early to ask this, but keeping my mind on the future is what keeps me sane while on deployment... So please excuse my eagerness!

Does anyone have an idea of some Hunt Tests (pointing, of course) that annually take place in the aforementioned states between March 1st and mid April? I am planning on taking my dogs to the ISCA National HT in CO, but would like to have a warm up before hand, so I don't go into "our big one" completely lost! We will be competing for our JH legs.

I have already searched AKC's events schedule, but as usual, there is nothing posted this far in advance

PS Heck, if there are none between those dates in the states listed, I would may be willing to travel a bit further if the dates are right!

Normally the GSP & Vizsla clubs in the Kansas City area have March HT's. There are also a couple of clubs in Mid MO & the St. Louis areas that have Mar tests. I don't know about the other states mentioned but do a search on the AKC sight of past events to get an idea of which clubs done them before.

Let me see if I can get a hold of the person that is in charge our hunt tests and see if they have a tentative idea when the hunt test is.

This is my club here in Colorado. Contact anyone of these guys and they will point you in the right direction as far as Colorado is concerned.

There is usually a double test in Yoder, Ks in October. Sunflower GSP puts one on at the same time a Brit club does. They are across the road from each other and gives you the opportunity to run 4 tests in one weekend. Quick and easy JH title. --- Charlie

Is it actually in Yoder, or is it about a mile east and a mile north of Freds Bait Shop? I grew up (and parrents still live) just up the road from Freds.. Someone has held a test annually there in that big CRP section since I was a little kid.

Now that would be awesome! How convenient is that, talk about some god planning. If only it was in March, I would say the Hunt Test Gods were on my side! Oh well, such is life
