Stinky Boots
Stinky Boots
Out hunting the other day I decided to cross water that was a bit deeper then I had anticipated. Needless to say the water went over the top of my boots and got wet on the inside. Now they stink. Any suggestions for the stink?

Baking soda is a great odor absorber. Sprinkle a healthy dose into the boots and leave for 2 to 3 days. Might want to change it out after 24 hours.
I've also heard that newspaper absorbs odors, also. Crumple it up, stuff in the boots and leave for ??
Good luck.

Odor eaters everyday works for me. Down here the morning dew is like 2" of rain, so morning yard work always results in soaked feet and pants.

Dry boots tend to be less stinky.
I use a Peet Boot Dryer. This simple little thing has been one of the most useful items I've ever picked up. Keeps wet hunting boots dry, drys my kids wet gloves in the winter, dries my running shoes out after a wet or snowy run etc....

They are pretty easy to find.

Peet dryers are a great investment ! you can get them at just about any sporting goods store the Wal-Mart by me has them not sure if all stores carry them.
