Beautiful puppy. I might have to look into a solid black one sometime down the road. How do the other dogs like the addition?

How do the other dogs like the addition?
Jeremy,
I dont do formal introductions to the group the first couple days with a new dog/pup entering the house, I let them all get used to seeing each other a couple days through the outside kennel fence or as dad brings them inside the house for the night, but i keep them separated, I dont know if its the right way of introducing a new pup/dog to the pack, but i guess I thinkl it does a couple things for us, it allows them to get comfortable seeing each other abit and see that dad thinks this new addition is ok , and it gives me time to assess the new dog/pup to be sure it isnt carrying any illness with them from where it came from that the other hounds might catch. In the field they meet all kinds of dogs though and they have never had a problem meeting , they get along with everyone but thats kinda neutral territory and this is their territory, so I am a bit cautious , I highly doubt any of my dogs would intentionally hurt the new pup.. then when i do introduce them after a couple days I do it one dog at a time at first.. I always way on the side of caution , like I said have no idea if this is the right way of doing things, its just how I do it ..
They were very interested and curious though this morning when I put her in the outdoor kennel next to them to be fed through the safety of the fence.
Thanks again everyone for the nice coments on her
Dennis

Rapid fire , I think they still got a couple pups left from the litter over at hungry ridge kennels , not sure what colors though, both Steve and his wife Erin were very nice to deal with as well, good folks

I had the pleasure of meeting both Sire and Dam of this litter. I never got to train or hunt over them but I know both are solid hunting dogs. I don't think Beau is still alive because he was pretty old 8 years ago when I met him. Beau had an amazing temperment and from what his owner told me he was a fantanstic natural retriever. He hunted alot of rabits and quail over him.
I don't think Beau had any Hustler in him but I know Odessa does. I have some pictures of Beau if you want them, I just need to scan them into my computer.
