Dog Box?

Post by QwikDraw » Thu Jan 06, 2011 1:23 pm

In the market for a new dog box for the back of my truck and was wondering what everyone here likes and why. I'm looking for a two dog box with storage, well built and well insulated for cold and heat.

FiberLite Dog Box. Made by a company called FIber Pro from around West Plains, Missouri. You can find them online.

Bitter Creek or Patriot are the ones I have and love them. Great craftsmanship and product.

What is your budget? I had a box built by Mountain Top Custom Kennel this year, and couldn't be happier.

Fire, as far as the budget goes I'm looking to stay under a grand. I'd rather spend a little more now to get a product that is well made and will last vs. something that will have to be replaced a few times with the ending result spending as much or more in then long run. I like those boxes from Mountian
Top they look great. I like the storage options and it looks like the dog compartments are good sized, they also look really well made. How pricey are they?
The boxes from bitter creek and patriot look good also.

I have a Deerskin box....love it.

Keep in mind, if you have a white dog, aluminum interiors tend to stain white dogs fur.

Here is the one I ordered back in April:

58 inch full slideot drawer:

Fan with stainless jailbar breezeway. Individual SS rods, not expanded metal like others:

Plenty of storage room in the front closet with 2 sets of hooks:
