Hey this is the nicest January we have had in a few years.

It's not how many breaths you have taken but how many times it has been taken away!

Has anyone noticed common sense isn't very common anymore.

I have only taken her out twice and shot 1 wild quail she pointed. Other than that its all about breaking. Should finish her Sr. Tests Saturday.... starting MH Sunday.

At the hunt club I joined for there training package... we get into some wild quail once a week while I rode her. I just get off and blank them.

Any quail in az? I wanted to get out there but I'm running low on time.

You of all people could use 4 or 5 days at the Caesar's or Mandalay pool.

That's the beauty of the tests and games - you get to keep working with your dog even if bird #'s are low.

No birds here to speak of. There are pockets but it takes a lot of driving. Man I wish we'd get the winter and spring rains and get these quail #'s back up again. Doin' the rain dance...

Left Pennsylvania to visit my in-laws in Dallas, TX. Unfortunately it went from 70 ( the day before I got there) to 20's - 30's the week I was there. So much for my break from the weather. :(

Woke up yesterday morning to -23 degrees without wind chill. Chilly morning. At least it is making good ice now. My brother is in Key Largo catching Sailfish. I think I need to join him. :D
Speak kindly to me, beloved master. Revel in my unconditional love, and give me every minute that you can spare, for my time with you is short.
