I have a deposit down on my new DD

I have a deposit down now on a second pick male out of the "A" litter vom Drakehaus litter. He had 8 males and 1 female.

Parents are Quessi vom Schinkelberg and Bento von den Meadowlakes. Pup will be ready mid-March. I can't wait!

I just had a look..NICE!!..i love looking at litters especially ones with those markings..they remind me of little cows ..maybe thats why we are naming our new GSP "jersey" ....ruth

Too funny. This will be my first gun dog so I'm really excited and anxious to get him.

Congrats! I remember the feeling!! Hope you get a chance to attend some training days and plan on testing your pup. It is alot of fun and you learn tons about dogs and training.

Thanks Merle. I am definitely planning on attending the training days and testing my pup. I went to the vjp in Boise last spring just to watch when I just started getting interested in them. This will be my first gun dog and the more exposure and experience I can get the better.

Congratulations! I've decided it's like a sickness. I've had dogs before and trained them for working cattle but this is my first gun dog and the anticipation is killing me.
