English Setter, probably always have a SM around also. Would love to have a top of the line Golden. So many breeds, would also consider a Brit, GSP, EP, English Springer, English Cocker, Deutche Wachatelhund, Lab, German Longhair, but the last eight are aways behind the first 3. I can't decide I like all of them.

I'll stick with britts. I had Springers before brits and I've helped train an Irish(field)setter-they were okay but I liked britts better. If I was going to try a new breed, I might try a griffon.

I have had or my family has had Wiemies, English Setters, and Labs and I have loved them all they each have the good qualities and their poor ones. I am currently dogless but I have decided that I will be a english setter hopefully I will have her before summer hits (I miss having a dog

). If I were able to get another dog which I will in a few years it would definitely be a Chesapeake Bay Retriever. I love their attitudes, their drive and their loyalty, that would be a trail/waterfowl dog only though.

I live in "Boykin Central". As you may know the breed originated here. I've thought that when I get too old for my harder running dogs I might get one. I've had some breeders offer me one on several occasions. I'm also an honorary member of a local Boykin club.

They are neat little dogs. Fairly versatile in function.

I think I would like to have a English Pointer to go along with my GSP. They are sharp looking dogs.

Vizsla... my wife likes them and I know someone who has some great running dogs that aren't afraid to flat out run. That's if I don't get another gsp.

Pretty impressed with my first GSP so far....very good in the woods/field and house.....

Had two Weimarners before and liked them....

I wouid like a male Wirehair next. My wife would like a Gordon Setter. I have had both and hold them both in overwhelmingly high regard, so if I pick the right individual, l can't lose. It is possible we will compromise and get a Gordon Setter.

New to the board, been lurking for a while. Always had labs, almost got a Boykin but this time around I brought a DD pup home. He has been a joy,best listening/most intelligent pup I've ever had.
