Which would you buy? The SportDog is on sale for $149. TT is $169. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Great, thanks for the input. The sportdog is normally $249 but is on sale, so a heck of a deal right now. Thinking about buying one for my old mans new pup since I've been borrowing his TT collar and have beat it up a tad.

The 2400 has been long since discontinued. The 2500 HoundHunter replaced it.

Oops! I got mixed up. the successor of the 2400 is the 2500 PROHUNTER. The "Houndhunter" is the 3200.. Which has also been discontinued by SportDOG and replaced by the 3225. :D

Ahhhhh hence the $100 off! Is the 2400 any good or is it being discontinued for a reason?

rKappes,
Got to tell you I would not own either one, we use the Dogtra T&B or the DT H2O, T&B. They are more expensive very reliable and multi faceted training collars.

RGD ~ Thanks for the input, I appreciate it very much. Maybe worth spending the extra $200 then, eh?

I also use Dogtra and love it but worth $200 more than the SD2400...no! Even discontinued the SD2400 is a great little collar and for the money you can't go wrong.

I have been very happy with my DT H2O. It is quite forgiving of abuse. The only thing I dislike is that the antenna unscrews easily.
