Hunting with my boys

The plan was for me and my wife to take our two young boys out for a preserve hunt Saturday afternoon. But she was unable to make it and told me I should still take the boys out. Connor and Carson had a great time. They were able to help set the birds in the field and got to drive the Kabota in the fields (with help of course). They both want to go out again and told me that we should do this more often.
Connor (L) and Carson with the first bird of the day. Connor just turned 5 and Carson will be 3 next month.

Great pics, with the exception of the Penn St. sticker. :D Go Buckeyes! Nothing better than hunting/fishing with your kids. Keep up the good work, and those boys will always remember those days with their Dad.

With the current situation at Ohio State I think its best that I don't comment on that.

I just hope that when they are grown they remember this and take me along. I'll be old by then and need the help. :D

That's what it's all about, bwire! Good looking boys and dogs.

Oh, and Go Huskers! (we're coming, boys. I can't wait until this fall for lots of reasons, but I am so pumped that Nebraska is in the B10, I can't stand it.)

The situation at tOSU is so blown out of proportion it is crazy. Discounted tatoos and selling trinkets that belong to them seems so minor when I look at Cam Newton getting away with demanding 200,000 dollars to commit. I don't understand the big deal. Give us our suspensions and move on to another BCS game. :D

Besides it is basketball season, and the Buckeyes are #1 in the country!

They'll remember you when you are older. Encourage them to move to a state with great bird hunting, and then visit often, or retire there! Always need to be planning ahead!

Thats not where the big problem is. The trouble is going to come because the coach knew about it and didn't do anything about it. It will be interesting to see what happens. But back to the reason we are on this board.

My oldest has a plan to build a house for me and he will work so I can retire. :D Too bad he is only 5 and he'll change his mind by then.

glad you are getting them out there and "passing it on"!

Great looking pictures - dogs look good on point and the boys are cute as little buttons. I bet they give you and mama a run for your money.

Bwire taking them now is like saving for later... I started walking along on some short hunts when I was five. 28 years later my dad is still my favorite hunting partner. Great job getting them out.
