We should do a cook out that would be awesome, We could fire up the grill and let the dogs lose to play and drink beer. After we get done hunting/training of course. ~Jesse~

What days are everyone thinking they would be available. As of right now I am open every Sunday but with a little notice I can be available both Sat and Sun or either one for that matter. I am thinking some time in the middle of April, prob. around the 16-17 should be nice. Cool and not to hot and possibly dry by then.

I am sure there will be plenty more to come. I looks like Joe and Ezzy a pretty centrally located where we can get the most people to come but maybe we can rotate locations which may en-tale Hotel stays or some type of lodging. Now if its summer up for popping a tent but that's me.

Haven't heard anything more but I did line up a area to hold it if everyone agrees to come up here. I'm going to go in for surgery Monday so I'm not sure how or when I will be available to do much.

Thanks so much for the good wishes. I Hope they will just go ahead and schedule it and I probably will be able to come and watch at least. Have the other hip scheduled for May 9th so there won't be much time between but I am hoping I can be somewhat mobile after a few days of each.

UPDATE !!!!!!

Ezzy was able to get us permission to use the Rack and Wing Hunt Club for our training day free of charge ! However they will not have birds any longer for us to purchase to use for training, but I'm working on getting some quail, if anyone wants to be doing some bird work. I have several launchers i will bring along with lots of other training gear just in case someone forgets to bring/ or doesn't have and needs to borrow something. I will be free any weekend after the 18th, I'm currently battling Pneumonia and the weekend before the 18th I'm heading down south to drop off a dog and pick up the quail.

I'm driving about 2 hrs. It's going to be a lot of fun. Maybe you can split a hotel with one of the other guys. Don't worry next time it might be in your area. We are planning on making this a regular thing and rotating where it is held. Maybe even throwing a hunting trip in there somewhere.

I'll probobally go up with Charlie (birddogger) if y'all don't mind. I'm not really going for the training (mostly the drinking, grilling and socializing) but I will bring a 5 month old pup to fool with.

Your more than welcome to come ! I think this first time might end up being more of a social thing any how but some of the less experienced folks that are coming want to do some.
