Now that is a good looking dog. Nice chest and well muscled. Not my favorite color but you can't pick color over great physical qualities. A dog to be proud of that looks to me to have Dual potential if someone wants to go that route.

It's not how many breaths you have taken but how many times it has been taken away!

Has anyone noticed common sense isn't very common anymore.

No, it's not just you. I see the similarities as well. His grand dad (Snips ticked off, ala "Rip" ) had a head like that too.

Ran the dog in the woods today and because of this post I took my wifes camera. Had two nice points on woodcock, the first the dog was at quite a distance with a nice high head and tail. Took three pictures, I didn't have my glasses on but new I had the dog centered in the frame. Got home and handed the camera to the wife to see what I shot. Camera said pictures taken 0.
Guess I need a little more practice with the camera.

Chaingang, i agree. I always thought that Dougie had a head like Rip also the way he stands his birds. Never thought of Hustler , but Rip is his son.Hadn't seen many pics of him.I had the pleasure to gun for Brenda and Rip for a Nstra trial. What a dog he was.

They both appear to have that blockier head with a more squared off muzzle. More of the old traditional GSP look.

I love the one second from the bottom. Love to see them moving in one direction stop and look in another where the smell is...Classic... Nice pics.
