A little bird work today!

Post by Southwind » Thu Mar 31, 2011 8:26 pm

Had my two black and white derbies out today for a little bird work. They are running nice and holding till flush. They are a brother and sister pair I kept from this breeding, and they are showing a lot of promise. They were whelped Dec 31, 2009. I wish momma would have waited another day so I could run them in puppy trials this spring. They may be a bit inexperienced for derby stakes.

Southwind, I like those fine boned dogs. How much you say they weigh?

I'd say Jake is 50 plus and Heidi is in the 40-45 range. Not much fat, but they are still young and filling out.
