My wife was nice enough to surprise me with the PS/PF DVD series I know she is wonderful ! But I went to watch them tonight and most of them skip and get stuck and then zoom forward why me ! come one ! so anyone wanna buy a slightly used set of PS/PF ?

Are the discs new?

We use canned air and vacuum the outside of the player. You can get the resurfacer/polisher thingies any place that sells electronics and discs.

Ahhh that sucks bro. Well the upside is, that if they're new or close to it they should warranty them.

They are brand new she ordered them from LCS i think I'm gonna try cleaning the player and polishing the DVD's if that don't work there getting sent back to LCS.

I"ll bet its your player, same thing happened to mine. Give them a try on someone elses.

Most of the time when you need a polisher you can see the scratches in them.

You could always play them on your computer. I take mine in the bedroom away from the kids and wife and watch them on my laptop in peace.

I would try them in a computer or another player to make sure it's not the disks.

I didn't have the PS/PF, but another training DVD that did the same thing. I had the day off, just me and the dogs...and I couldn't learn anything. I did find out they worked on the other player in the house...which happened to be in the bedroom, so I took a nap before training

If it is the discs, you can have your card company rescind payment until the issue is resolved. $50 and more, that's the law.

Maybe he should try the other options, including working it out with LCS (should it be the discs) before he uses the nuclear option?

Nine times out of ten it is the player and it usually mars the disc. Regardless, I think every recourse has been thoroughly examined and the OP will probably have a solution in hand. I figured if they were new he would have contacted the vendor. Are you the suggestion editor?

I brought my Air compressor in the house this morning and blew out my DVD player and the disks work fine now thanks for all the suggestions I appreciate the help ! Should I have anymore problems I will take it up with LCS there very good at this kind of thing I have dealt with it before not there fault with some stuff cause they just sell it but they stand behind everything they sell.

I "dusted" the TV and the entertainment center and all around it since I had the Compressor in the house lol
