Get what you can george rick smith perfection..pick the method that makes the most sense to you that you will be able to stick with and go with it
"I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."
"When I hear somebody talk about a horse or cow being stupid, I figure its a sure sign that the animal has outfoxed them." Tom Dorrance

Best training video out there IMO.

Go to a seminar if you can as they will really help you understand dogs, training, and raise your expectations of bird dogs.

I have the Hickox 4 volume DVDs. I like them, and they make sense to me. Since Im a novice, I would have liked to see a little more detail, but overall I am really pleased.

I enjoyed George's DVD -- pretty short, just shy of 2 hrs, but a good intro. I watched it a couple times and learned a lot.

I am selling my copy on Amazon for $40 if you are interested.

Regards.
