Something to put your launchers in?
I have a DT bird launcher with 2 more on the way. I was wondering what if anything do you guys carry your launchers to and from the field. I didn't want to just throw them in a big duffle and have them getting banged up or tore up. Someone should make a bag that will hold 3 or so launchers with dividers between them. Sure would be handy.

If you eant something nice, but pricey, look at photographers bags.

I've seen people use plastic totes. They had one that fit 2 of the perfectly with no moving around.

to me putting them in a bag would just add more crap to carry around JMO thats why I welded up a expanded metal basket that I can mount on the quad to hold them and a big water Jug

I use a large plastic tote. holds 4 launchers plus a bunch of other stuff.

Ditto on the totes, we use one of those. The heavy rubbermaid "boxes" work well too.

Thanks. I guess they are more rugged than I thought. I have a Yamaha rhino and can just carry them in the bed. I just figured all the bouncing around might mess up the electronics.

I cut a piece of 1/2" exterior plywood a little bigger all around than the launcher and screwed it to the bottom of the launcher unit. I had some issues with an early model launcher cutting out on me when it got wet from the damp ground. The plywod base keeps that from happening. Never had a problem after that. Also the plywood is just heavy enough so that the trap will stay where I put it even if I set it up at an angle.
I put an eye hook on mine to hang it up on a nail when not in use. No reason you can't put one eye hook on either side of the plywood and snug it down wherever you want with a bungee. I guess you could just hook the bungee to a hole in the launcher basket and secure it that way.
