anyone notice....
Summer is here. Training is not being done as frequently as it would come fall or even winter and not much going on in the field. Soo let's see some pics of dogs messing around and not acting like they have any training at all....
My dogs favorite thing to do is play keepaway with my hat. Or yard work gloves laying around the shed.

A photo of one of my home-bred GSP taken 1977 as we were gearing up to
participate in a 4th of July parade -- his expression says it all

Some photos of puppy pics from my summer June 1999 Pointer litter -
wonderful litter, pups turned out to be super bird dogs and well-loved companion dogs, too:
Here's hoping everyone has a GREAT summer!

Nice photoshop job to put a tail on that GSP, pointers don't enjoy water enough to jump in like that.

Kona only likes to chase these pheasant under the air conditioner. It's a rough life being a bird dog. It sucks only working a few months out of the year but we take it in strides.

today I worked on my dog jumping off the dock at the lake to fetch a bumper
was kinda funny, she stood all hunkered down at the edge the first time or two so I nudged her a bit with my toe, then after about 3 times she was bailing off and swimming out to the bumper. Then I was suprised, my old labs years ago would always swim straight back to me then swim back along the dock to the shore but the brittany just headed for shore then ran back up the dock to give me the bumper.

Well here's a few "non-training" pics from the 4th of July weekend at the cabin.
